The budget of the iftar programs organized by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality during Ramadan was divided into provinces in the disaster region this year. We will continue to distribute iftar dinner during the month of Ramadan at the point of solidarity of Izmir. The first day of Ramadan will be established in Izmir Konak Square and Adiyaman, Osmaniye and Hatay.

The iftar programs organized by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality during Ramadan were arranged and this year was granted priority to the provinces in the disaster region. It was decided that the iftars in İzmir should not be organized and the programs carried out at the points of solidarity in the neighborhoods should be continued. Only an iftar arranged in Konak Square and invitations for the public, especially the families of the earthquake settled in Izmir. The budget planned for the square iftars was used to use citizens for sahur and iftar meals in the earthquake in the disaster region. In this context, iftar dinner was planned in tents and container cities in Hatay, Osmaniye and Adıyaman provinces. The first day of Ramadan will be established in Adıyaman, Osmaniye and Hatay, which is the first day of Ramadan.

Iftar dinner 215 thousand people

During the month of Ramadan in Izmir, we decided to provide a total of 215 thousand iftar dinner in Izmir Solidarity Point, 50 thousand households food package, 76 thousand 515 households to provide 400 TL cash aid. It was planned to give a total of 136 thousand iftar dinner during the month of Ramadan in three provinces. In addition, İzmir and Hatay, Osmaniye and Adıyaman provinces planned to be made with the iftars of a total of 75 million TL in kind and cash support will be provided.

In addition, at least 5 neighborhoods/parking iftar will be held in the second 15 -day section of Ramadan. Hospital, nursing home, women’s shelter houses, which are the boarding institutions of the Metropolitan Municipality, settled in Izmir, the dormitories, hostels and hotels where citizens stay in the place of the citizens will be offered.
