Dear Esteemed Members of the Fenerbahçe High Court of Honor, Valued Members of the Press, and Beloved Fenerbahçeli Fans,

It is with great pride and excitement that I, having had the honor of serving the Fenerbahçe community for many years, would like to share an important step with you. I am declaring my candidacy for the Presidency of the Fenerbahçe Sports Club High Court of Honor with the utmost sincerity and determination.

With the experience and dedication that come with being a congress member for 28 years, I want each of you to feel my love for Fenerbahçe and my passion for serving it. My commitment to Fenerbahçe began at the age of 14 when I carried Amigo Çetin‘s drum, and I gained experience playing as a goalscoring forward on the football teams between 1981-1985. My journey continued when I became one of the founders of the 1907 Fenerbahçe Association. I will work with all my might to protect this historical legacy and carry it into the future.

My determination to keep the values and history of our club alive can also be seen in the work I have done in the past. I played an important role in bringing the 1907 Membership Card project to life, together with my late uncle Uğur Erkmen. I also took an active role in the formation of the basketball team, known as the “Dream Team.” In 1997, I presented and hosted the most listened-to sports program in Turkey, “Spor Vizyon” on Fenerbahçe FM, where I was able to share my commitment to our club with the whole of Turkey.

Fenerbahçe is not just a sports club; it is a way of life for me. I am proud to inherit my father’s greatest legacy, my love and devotion to this unique community, and to pass it on to my two sons. As one of the founders and president of the Supporters’ Association in the previous term, I have proven that I am always there for our fans and that I will do my best to meet their needs.

It is with great honor that I dedicate all my energy and talent to Fenerbahçe. I am a candidate for the High Council Presidency in the Elective High Council Meeting of our club, which will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024. With your trust and support, I am here. Together, we look to the future with hope and excitement.
