“Our Eid al-Fitr; Let It Be A New Beginning for Our Beautiful and Happy Tomorrows”

Gökhan Temur, the President of the Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (MÜSİAD) in Izmir, released a congratulatory message for Eid al-Fitr.

In his statement, Gökhan Temur, the President of MÜSİAD Izmir, said: “Thanks to Allah, we have reached another holiday after the mercy, forgiveness, and abundance of the holy month of Ramadan. I pray that this holiday brings peace, tranquility, mercy, and well-being to our country, nation, Islamic world, and all humanity from the Almighty God. I wish you a blessed Eid al-Fitr.”

“LET OUR HARMONY AND UNITY BE PERMANENT”

On February 6, I offer my condolences to our brothers and sisters who lost their lives in the consecutive earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaras, and I pray for urgent healing for the wounded. May God give patience and fortitude to our disaster-stricken brothers and sisters and our nation. May Allah never show us such a disaster again. We will heal our wounds together and stand up together. Let our harmony and unity be permanent, Inshallah.

Holidays are rare times when joy is amplified. Like every holiday, we must enlarge the joys of this Eid al-Fitr worldwide and share the sorrows. We should make peace with our relatives and kin by establishing family ties and try to alleviate the pains of oppressed nations suffering in various parts of the world by feeling their sorrows in our hearts.

With these feelings and thoughts, I congratulate our dear nation and the entire Islamic world on Eid al-Fitr, with the hope that it will contribute to the construction of a world where holidays are celebrated as holidays, and peace, happiness, and tranquility reign throughout the world, and that we will reach many more holidays in health and well-being.”
