Diverting Rainwater to Streams and the Sea
Muğla Metropolitan Municipality is actively working to eliminate the adverse effects of heavy rainfall and prevent flooding. In this context, a significant portion of the work has been carried out in Milas, where 55,080 meters of rainwater drainage pipes have been installed so far. As part of the project, 12,924 meters of pipes were constructed in Fethiye, 3,061 meters in Ortaca, 2,542 meters in Marmaris, 2,479 meters in Menteşe, 1,996 meters in Dalaman, 1,100 meters in Seydikemer, 911 meters in Bodrum, 553 meters in Köyceğiz, and 505 meters in Ula.
