Hyundai has refreshed its i10 model, which has achieved significant sales figures in the European market. The new i10 comes with more lively colors and a more stylish design, as well as advanced connectivity features, comfort elements, and technologies generally seen only in the upper segments. With these new additions, the Hyundai i10 is now becoming even more competitive in its class.
Bold and unique design
The new i10 underwent several design updates both inside and out after a facelift operation. The Hyundai i10 now displays a more sporty stance, thanks to its low roof and long wheelbase, giving a bolder impression. Depending on the sales strategy of some markets, Hyundai also offers an N Line version. The Hyundai i10 N Line stands out as a different alternative for customers who want more sportiness. The i10, which will be available in a total of nine new body colors, will feature special colors such as pearl-coated bright and light gray “Lumen Grey” and blue-purple mix “Meta Blue”.
The headlights and daytime running lights in the front of the car have been updated. Additionally, the i10, which has a different grille, also comes with new LED tail lights at the rear. These rear LED combination lights form an “H” symbol on the horizontal trunk lid line. The facelifted model also features newly designed 15-inch alloy wheels. The car’s 2D logos are also prepared in matte gray.
Inside the car, blue ambient lighting stands out as the first noticeable innovation. This “Purple Package,” a new addition, adds a fun touch to the car’s sporty exterior design. In addition to plaid fabric seats with vertical purple lines, there are also purple details on the stitching and ventilation holes. The Hyundai i10 N Line, on the other hand, reflects its motorsport-inspired design with sporty bumpers, sills with diffusers, and red touches inside.
Smart technologies
The new i10 is extremely practical with seamless connectivity features. These features not only make the i10 more technologically advanced, but also make the in-car experience easier. The i10, which is well received as one of Europe’s most popular city cars, stands out with its standard 4.2-inch LCD display, front and rear USB type-C connections, second-generation eCall based on 4G network, and Over The Air (OTA) map updates depending on the market.
Hyundai i10 competes with top-tier cars with its 8-inch multimedia screen, Voice Video Navigation (AVN), wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless charging, and latest Bluelink® telematics update. It also offers Hyundai Smart Sense equipment as standard for increased safety. The Front Collision Avoidance Assistant (FCA) has been expanded to include cyclists. FCA helps to detect potential accidents in the front traffic and avoid them. Lane Keeping Assistant (LFA) uses steering control to help the vehicle stay in the current lane. Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) reminds the driver with a message on the dashboard whether the rear door has been opened or not during the journey to prevent anyone or anything from being forgotten in the vehicle.
More comfort and convenience.
The new i10 continues to be a practical choice for European drivers. The model, which has defining features in the A segment, comes equipped with electric folding mirrors. The i10 offers a 252-liter luggage capacity with the seats up and 1,050 liters with the seats folded down, the same as its predecessor, as well as a two-stage luggage panel, one-touch rear seat folding, and a rearview camera.
The production of the new i10 will begin in April at Hyundai’s factory in İzmit.
