Operating under the principle of “Committing any form of violence is a crime; you have the right to a life without violence,” the foundation aims to raise awareness among women about physical, psychological, and economic violence.

Mor Çatı, working to facilitate women’s access to their rights and support mechanisms under Law No. 6284, has implemented the microsite “www.kararaldim.org,” providing detailed information on the law text, support options, and practical tips for women to escape violence.

Additionally, Mor Çatı Women’s Shelter Foundation aims to increase societal awareness about combating violence through visual materials and films prepared as part of the campaign. These materials will be disseminated on social media platforms and advertising spaces in various locations across Istanbul.

Mor Çatı invites everyone to join forces in rescuing women from violence and creating awareness in society. The foundation encourages seeking support from emergency hotlines such as the police (112), KADES, ALO 183, and ŞÖNİM for women who are victims of violence. Information is also provided on options like restraining the perpetrator and seeking refuge to ensure the safety of women. Through this campaign, Mor Çatı continues to emphasize women’s rights and the fundamental right to a life free from violence, contributing to the broader societal fight against violence.
