As a result of climate change and excessive consumption, we gradually lose our water resources. For a sustainable future with a planned, regular, identity city understanding, we maintain our water as Antalya Metropolitan Municipality.

As Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, we prepare our city for the future in the light of reason and science against the water crisis. We know that water is life itself and we protect our lives with our projects that we have started against thirst. By preparing the integrated urban water management plan, we plan the water of the future and the Antalya of the future.

Since the day I took office as the Mayor of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, we have started many studies in this direction. In order to prevent water loss and leakage, we started to renew a 300 -kilometer drinking water network starting from our central districts. 601 We perform the renovation to cover the entire water tank. We have protected 122 water resources to protect underground water resources.

In Antalya, the capital of agriculture, we take our farmers away from wild irrigation and realize our new, modern and water -saving irrigation projects. We provide irrigation pipe support. With our solar energy systems, we provide energy support to agricultural irrigation and pave the way for saving. Again for the first time, we started the use of wastewater treatment plant output water in agricultural irrigation in 4 districts. We donate to our manufacturers with thirst -resistant medical aromatic plants. With our environmentally friendly farmer card project, we prevent pesticide pollution from polluting our water resources

We detect water leakage with our Asat SCADA System and intervene instantly. In addition to the system, we use smart valves that adjust the pressure according to the water requirement level and prevent leaks. With our seismic acoustic listening devices, we listen to underground water and wastewater lines and prevent leaks. We renew our drinking water stores and drinking water transmission lines that have completed their life and prevent waste and care about our health. We renew wastewater treatment plants, promotion stations, deep sea discharge lines, increase their capacity to prevent a drop of dirty water to pollute our clean waters

We produce thirst resistant grass for our city landscape. With our smart irrigation systems, regular care of the pools, we save water with perlators in our service buildings. In addition, we have started to waste water in the landscape thanks to our arid landscape application, which we have started and received many awards.

Within the scope of our Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan, the problem of our future is already starting the struggle with drought and we are implementing our projects one by one against the water crisis. We inform our citizens about water saving with our gradual tariff and awareness activities in the use of drinking water.

It works with the goal of an environment and nature -friendly Antalya, and we are preparing step by step for a better future. We continue to work with our strength to ensure that even a drop of water does not go to waste and to ensure that our people have access to healthy drinking and use water.
