Within the scope of the Erasmus project “The Carousel of True Friendship,” 16 teachers from the UK, France, Portugal, Romania, and Italy were hosted by Keçiören Mayor Turgut Altınok at the Keçiören 23 April Middle School.

The foreign teachers who came to Turkey as part of the project, which aims to facilitate the school culture and integration of immigrant and refugee students, were accompanied by the school principal, teachers, and students of the Keçiören 23 April Middle School.

After hosting the teachers in his office, Mayor Altınok took them to visit historical and tourist sites in Kalaba City Square.

Mayor Altınok stated that they contribute to introducing Turkish culture to foreign students and teachers who come to Keçiören as part of international friendship projects, saying, “Many tourists come to Keçiören from many countries for student exchange and international friendship projects. We tell them about Turkish culture and our understanding of municipalism. They leave here with great satisfaction. Every guest who sees the historical and tourist attractions of our district falls in love with Keçiören.”
