So super smart society. We have to be super smart now. This is the only way we can capture artificial intelligence. Life will be very difficult for some from now on. A very difficult life awaits people who cannot improve themselves. Universal basic income is inevitable. Artificial intelligence and robots will increase unemployment by 20 percent in the world in the 2040s. We are coming towards the end of capitalism,” he said.
“The possibilities of artificial intelligence should be used”
Listing his suggestions for solutions against the risks that await Turkey in the future, Manas said, “Turkey has to identify strategic investment areas and support them from a single center. It should bring TÜBİTAK to the level and structure of the American National Science Foundation and the German Fraunhoufer. Unicorns should be made by investing in companies that will work with the state through the funds of the funds. The possibilities of artificial intelligence should be utilized by strengthening the e-Government door and securing information flow and storage. We need to manage technopolis and technology development centers from a single center and bring in foreign R&D companies. Plant-based meat and dairy technologies should be developed. We need to create large living spaces where digital Nomads, retired CEOs and retired Europeans will live; Like Izmir. It should be created by investing at least $100 billion for green hydrogen and ammonia. With the joint development of methane hydrate technology, Turkey’s natural gas exports should be reduced.”
