Director Leo Yılmaz, who was struck by the actor’s smile in a fire scene in the series “Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman Ki”, stated that since that day, he liked Aras Bulut İynemli’s acting very much and wanted to work with him.
“More importance should be given to horror films and space should be given to screenwriters.”
Speaking about the Turkish cinema sector, Leo Yılmaz said that there has been a lot of good work in Turkish cinema recently, but in order to produce even better work, more space and time should be given to screenwriters, “The maximum time we give is usually three months.” and explained with examples from European and American cinema.

He Worked With Jim Carrey For A Year
Leo Yılmaz, who came first in the acting competition organized by Jim Carrey’s agency by beating one million Canadians, had the chance to work with the world-famous actor both in front of and behind the camera for a year. Stating that this experience also opened Canadian television channels to him, Yılmaz said, “I took one-on-one acting lessons from Jim Carrey. I took part in 14 projects at TBS. I got a few jobs as an art director. I learned radio-television.”

“I dreamed of being an actor as a child.”
Stating that his childhood dream was to become an actor and that this was how he entered the industry, Yılmaz said that he turned more towards the background of the work over time due to his experiences.
