Collaboration between Kolay HR and Inspakt Provides Environmental Advantage in Time and Cost for Companies – Paper Processes Digitizing

The human resources platform Kolay HR has entered into a collaboration with the digital document and digital biometric signature platform Inspakt. According to this collaboration, more than 1,800 companies using Kolay HR will be able to carry out processes based on printed documents such as contracts, permissions, forms, and reports in a digital environment within minutes and securely store their documents. At the same time, they will reduce costs such as paper and shipping, prevent the cutting of trees, and reduce their carbon footprints.

Employees in human resources (HR) departments of companies spend a significant portion of their time on paper-based processes. According to the global research company IDC, HR employees of a 1,000-employee company spend 60% of their working hours creating documents, processing information, and addressing deficiencies. On the other hand, paper-based processes can slow down operations in all departments, not just HR, and cause some processes to take days. Kolay HR, in collaboration with the digital document and digital biometric signature platform Inspakt, aims to accelerate paper-based processes in the 1,800 companies it serves, benefiting more than 150,000 employees and over 4,000 HR managers. Kolay HR users will be able to digitize all processes that progress through printed documents, such as contracts, permissions, forms, and reports. Customizable documents can be easily and remotely signed with a digital biometric signature.

What is a digital biometric signature?

A digital biometric signature, an electronic signature type defined at an advanced level, is a digital alternative to a wet signature. It is created by pressing behavior data such as speed, acceleration, pressure, and coordinates, which are collected through touch screens, onto a document in an unalterable and court-verified manner. Using a digital biometric signature contributes to the faster completion of processes such as consent agreement, payroll, expenses, employment contracts, and similar processes. A touch screen mobile phone or tablet is sufficient for signing. Since a finger or an electronic pen is used instead of a pen and a touchscreen instead of paper, it is evaluated as an ‘handwritten signature’ status mentioned in the Turkish Code of Obligations and has legal validity.
