The Urban Festival organized by the Kartepe Municipality on the occasion of the Ramadan Feast was held under the presidency of the Mayor of Kartepe, Attorney M. Mustafa Kocaman.

The Traditional Urban Festival, organized by the Kartepe Municipality on the occasion of the Ramadan Feast, was held on the first day of the feast. AK Party Deputy Sami Çakır, deputy mayors, council members, unit directors, political party representatives, NGO representatives, and residents of Kartepe attended the Urban Festival hosted by Mayor Attorney M. Mustafa Kocaman.

WE HAD A SAD RAMADAN MONTH

Speaking at the Urban Festival, Mayor Attorney M. Mustafa Kocaman said, “We have left the month of Ramadan behind. May Allah accept our worship. We had a very difficult and sad Ramadan month. There was a sense of sadness in all of us due to the earthquake that affected 11 provinces on February 6. We spent a Ramadan month sharing the pain of our fellow citizens living there. May our unity and solidarity be permanent.”

WE TRIED TO EASE THE PAIN OF THE EARTHQUAKE

AK Party Deputy Sami Çakır, who took the floor at the Urban Festival, said, “We have completed the month of Ramadan and reached the feast. Festivals are days of unity, brotherhood, and shared happiness. Our festival culture is special in itself. We visit graves during festivals. We pass on the cultural heritage left to us by our ancestors to our children. We tried to ease the pain of the earthquake. The earthquake showed once again how generous our nation is. We experienced an earthquake that directly affected 17 million people and the whole country. Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality and district municipalities worked hard to ease the pain.” After the speeches, the festival was held.
