Inspera Bodrum, a new culture and art center that is set to become a favorite of art lovers in Bodrum’s uniquely beautiful town, opened its doors on Tuesday, January 23rd. Spread over a large area, the center is located in Ortakent, Bodrum and includes a stage with a capacity of three different people, an art gallery, foyer area, academy, workshops, digital radio, bookstore, work and meeting areas, restaurant and bistro café.
Inspera Bodrum aims to be a center where everyone from 7 to 70 can meet with art by offering a wide range of artistic activities such as festivals, cinema, theater, culture and art events, music, painting and dance.
First Exhibition: “Where the Sea Once Was – Dove una volta c’era il mare”
Inspera Bodrum’s first event to welcome art lovers was the exhibition “Dove una volta c’era il mare – Where once there was a sea”, which took place on Tuesday, January 23rd. This exhibition focuses on the Contemporary Art of the Dolomites, bringing together the works of leading names in the Italian art world. The exhibition is curated by Lisa Trockner and Inspera Art Space Curator Ender Güzey, and is organized under the patronage of the Italian Ambassador to Ankara Mr. Giorgio Marrapodi. The exhibition features works by prominent Italian artists such as Julia Bornefeld, Aron Demetz, Arnold Mario Dall’O, Wilma Kammerer, Hubert Kostner, Sissa Micheli, Robert Pan, Peter Senoner, Barbara Tavella, Gustav Willeit, and Christine Galmetzer.
The exhibition can be visited at Inspera Bodrum Art Space between 12.00-20.00 every day except Mondays until March 1.
Inspera Bodrum’s Various Opportunities and Goals
Inspera Bodrum is not only an exhibition space, but also a large cultural and artistic center. In this center, which opens a separate window to each branch of art, there are events that appeal to all age groups, from children to adults. Inspera Bodrum includes different areas such as Inspera Main Stage, Inspera Mini Stage, Inspera Open Stage, Inspera Art Space, Inspera Design Book Store, Inspera Art Academy, Inspera On-Air, Co-Working Space, Voyn Bistro and Gastro Blau.
These facilities include the Inspera Main Stage, which attracts attention with its technological equipment, acoustic features and portable stage, as well as many activity areas such as music rooms, painting workshops, dance and drama studios. Inspera Bodrum aims to bring art lovers together with activities in different disciplines, aiming to spread the developmental and healing effect of culture and arts.
