This week’s guest of our program presented by Eylül Aşkın was film director and supervisor İbrahim Bülbül, who has recently been on the agenda with his film Nisan.
“Not even love excites me as much as the technique I will use when I shoot the scene excites me.”
Speaking about the action scenes in the movie Nisan, director İbrahim Bülbül confessed, “I scored a goal while writing the script.” He explained that he did not use a rope in the scene of falling from the wall, which we can see in the trailer.
“I like Selçuk Aydemir very much.”
Stating that he admires Selçuk Aydemir very much in terms of making the whole design technical and fictional, the artist said that he is a serious follower of Amir Khan abroad.
“I lived a childhood like a dream world where children painted at the foot of the mountains.”
İbrahim Bülbül, born in Yenimahalle, Ankara, shared with Eylül Aşkın the unknowns about his childhood in the countryside, his university years, and his career as a model, actor, supervisor and film director.
“I don’t believe in coincidences. Everything is always a coincidence.”
“Even if you are at the top of a mountain, if you have a fortune somewhere, it will come and find you. I believe in this.” İbrahim Bülbül said that he also benefited from the fact that he graduated from Hacettepe University Interior Design during the film shootings. Stating that the energy of the movie will not pass to the audience if the necessary ambiance is not created, İbrahim Bülbül said, “Ninety percent of cinema is light.”

Expressing his experience with the sentence “I received the best accelerated education in the world.” İbrahim Bülbül shared with the enthusiasts that the departure of the first Bahar character in his first movie experience caused him to re-shoot the whole movie with another Bahar and how this enabled him to improve himself in his work.
“You can call it a music video, but it is a short movie.”
Expressing that he takes his job very seriously, İbrahim Bülbül said that he benefited from the creative and advertising team during the clip shooting.
