Prime Video Announces New Local Production Film “39 Degrees in the Shade” Starring Ayça Ayşin Turan and Furkan Andıç
Prime Video has announced the start of filming for the new local production film “39 Degrees in the Shade,” starring successful actors Ayça Ayşin Turan and Furkan Andıç. This romantic comedy will be available exclusively on Prime Video later in 2024.
Details of the Film “39 Degrees in the Shade”
Directed by Tunç Şahin, written by Uygar Şirin, and produced by Bir Film, “39 Degrees in the Shade” presents a story set in two different cities, Istanbul and Izmir. The film depicts the unexpected change in the lives of two characters, Kumru and Fatih. Kumru is a successful lawyer in Istanbul known for her punctuality, while Fatih is a calm character born and raised in Izmir. Their paths cross when they face a high-profile divorce case.
As the divorce case becomes contentious, Kumru and Fatih have only eight hours. During this time, they must gather evidence, visit Kumru’s mother, get Fatih’s friends to a concert, and attend a wedding. This fast-paced and chaotic day spent in the streets of Izmir will profoundly change their lives.
