The book “Will You LYNCH Me?” written by lawyer Serra Taşköprü has been presented to readers through Günce Publishing.

The author’s latest book draws attention to individuals who exhibit different behaviors and thoughts in the face of societal rules. Revolutionary works in every subject and field, and those who bring these works to life both theoretically and practically, are initially lynched for their unconventionality. These unconventional individuals, who disrupt the norms of society, offer an innovative approach to society with their original thoughts and feelings. In sociology, taking a stance contrary to society and going beyond its values and taboos requires the courage of a “Madman.” Every revolutionary, in this sense, is a “Madman.” Every revolutionary who is initially not approved and subjected to the violence of stigmatization knows that they will be understood one day, so they challenge the herd mentality’s lynching and say: “Will You LYNCH Me?”

Serra Taşköprü, known for her bold and unconventional spirit, was born on April 9, 1980, in Kadıköy, Istanbul. She began her education at Saint Joseph French High School in Kadıköy and graduated from the Faculty of Law at Maltepe University. She is currently continuing her postgraduate education at Istanbul University’s Cerrahpaşa Institute of Forensic Medicine and Forensic Sciences. Taşköprü registered with the Istanbul Bar Association in 2006 and has been actively practicing law since then. Additionally, she has developed herself in various fields such as ballet, volleyball, boxing, theater, and music. She also prepared and hosted the programs “Visionary Approach” and “Serratonin.” Currently, she is a philosophy student at Istanbul University’s Open and Distance Education Faculty (AUZEF).

Recognized for her work in animal rights advocacy, Taşköprü was awarded the “Best Lawyer” award by the Turkish Press Association. She has written columns for various newspapers and has been honored by Mimoza Global Media as a Content Creator and Author.

Serra Taşköprü continues her successful career as a freelance lawyer and stands out with her works addressing significant issues such as “Crimes Committed Through Calculated Silent Manipulation and Their Legal Dimensions.” With her bold and original stance, Taşköprü inspires society and seems poised to continue presenting new and different ideas.
