Magnificent events will be held as part of the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day celebrations organized by Foça Municipality.
Sunset concert
The celebration program will begin with a Sunset Concert on Saturday, April 22 at 7:30 pm. The Philharmonic Orchestra Stratums Muziekorps Sint Cecilia Trio and Quartet Groups will perform on Aşıklar Street, in front of Beşkapılar Castle and Kybele Temple, accompanied by the beautiful sunset views.
Lighthouse parade and music feast
After the Lighthouse Parade on April 23, Sunday, at the peak of excitement, at 9:00 pm, the Philharmonic Orchestra Stratums Muziekorps Sint Cecilia, Harmonie Turkish Music Choir and Children’s Choir will offer a music feast with concerts in Cumhuriyet Square.

Foça Mayor Fatih Gürbüz invited all children and citizens to the Sunset Concert, Lighthouse Parade and celebration concerts.
Mayor Fatih Gürbüz said, “April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, which our Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk gifted to children, is blessed for our children and our country, which are our future and tomorrow. We will celebrate April 23 with great enthusiasm together in Foça.”
