Producer and Screenwriter Özgür Akçay: “I have a mission related to family”
Özgür Akçay, who has been in the film industry for many years, stated that he undertook a mission with his first film “Aile Çıkmazı” by writing the screenplay and producing the film. “I have been in the industry for many years. My first feature film is about family, and I will continue in this direction. I have a mission related to family, and I set out to accomplish it. I am also a father. Our film is a project involving children as well. When writing the screenplay, I thought the dialogues, characters, and the script should be good, and the reactions I received from those who read the script were so positive… Making movies is not easy in the world, and it’s even harder in Turkey. It might be a bit crazy. For now, everything is going very well. If we complete the final touches, the Turkish society will have watched a great movie,” he said.

Director Emre Bahadır Çırakoğlu: “It’s becoming a film beyond what we aimed for”
Director Emre Bahadır Çırakoğlu, who stated that the shooting is progressing with great pleasure, said, “First of all, I must say that I am very happy because everyone I felt and wanted in the project is in our film. We feel that the place we started and the place we will end up will be beyond what we aimed for. We have shot more than half of the film so far, and we are producing a delightful work. Therefore, when it’s finished, we will be in a much better place,” he said.

Bihter Dinçel: “I am playing the role of an archaeologist mother”
Bihter Dinçel, who started by saying that she strongly believes in the screenplay of “Aile Çıkmazı” and that it has a sweet story, said, “We are playing our roles seriously, but our team members are laughing, so I think we are doing something right. In the film, I portray the role of an archaeologist mother named Perihan. The film starts with us going on an excavation in Egypt, and then events unfold. We have an entertaining script and a wonderful cast. Our producer and director are working meticulously. At the end of each day, I feel that we have achieved something a little better than we expected. The feeling we have is really beautiful,” she said.

Ferit Aktuğ: “It’s a heartwarming film”
Ferit Aktuğ, who portrays the character Şevket, an academic father, in the film, started by saying, “We shot a heartwarming film in warm weather.” He said that being on set with the entire team, especially the child actors, is a lot of fun and invited everyone to watch “Aile Çıkmazı” in the cinema when it’s released.

Ruhi Sarı: “I am in the film with a challenging character”
Ruhi Sarı, who joined the film from the Egypt-Cairo section, said, “Once again, I joined a film struggling with a challenging character, as always. The script was very enjoyable. And the team… We always say it, but there are projects where we could be unhappy without a harmonious team or real actors, so being part of a project with everyone being an actor, a good script, and good direction makes an actor very happy,” she said.

Muharrem Türkseven: “We are making a comedy film with moral values”
Starting his words by saying, “I hope I have created a memorable character in this beautiful film,” Muharrem Türkseven said, “Working with such a great team doesn’t happen to everyone, and I am very happy. We are trying to do a job worthy of it. We are making a family film. It’s actually a difficult task in the comedy genre. Unlike what is often done in comedy films, which is to make people laugh with explicit stories, we are trying to create a comedy with moral values. I believe we are doing this well,” he said.
Preparing to hit theaters in February of the next year, the film “Aile Çıkmazı” is getting ready to draw everyone, young and old, to the cinema.
