The Energy Efficiency and Management Association (EYODER), the only civil society organization representing energy service companies in Turkey, shared its vision for the new era and set ambitious goals in the field of energy efficiency during a gathering of its members.

Onur Ünlü, the President of the EYODER Board, stated during the meeting, “There are significant opportunities ahead to achieve success and shape the future in the energy sector. 2024 will be a turning point in the field of energy efficiency.” He emphasized that EYODER aims to further strengthen energy service companies, increase awareness of energy efficiency, and expand the Energy Performance Contracts market in the new era.

Innovative Steps in the Energy Efficiency Sector

EYODER’s vision for the new era focuses on taking innovative steps in the energy efficiency sector. The association brings together companies not only from energy service sectors but also from various industries such as finance, insurance, and technology, providing a broad perspective. It is believed that this approach will enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing in the sector, strengthening solutions in energy efficiency.

EYODER’s International Role and Expectations

Highlighting the international role of EYODER, Onur Ünlü expressed, “We expect international financial institutions to finance investments in energy efficiency. Turkey’s aggressive goals in energy efficiency point to an acceleration of investments in this field.” It is anticipated that EYODER’s international collaborations through its membership in the Global ESCO Network will contribute to the global fight against climate change.
