The legendary horror series is getting ready to meet with moviegoers with its new movie “Evil Dead Rise”. Lee Cronin sits in the director’s chair of the film, with director Sam Raimi, one of the creators of the Evil Spirit series, as the executive producer. In the Evil Dead series, which managed to scare the audience with the supernatural universe it created from the beginning of the 1980s to the present, this time the action moves from the forest to the city!
“Evil Spirit: Awakening”, distributed by TME Films in our country and eagerly awaited by horror movie fans, will be in theaters on April 21 with dubbing and subtitle options!
The famous Evil Spirit movie, which is among the classics of horror cinema, returns with the fifth film of the series, “Evil Spirit: Awakening”. Unlike the other films of the series, which takes place in a hut in the forest, the story that will take place in the city is about the complex story of two estranged sisters, played by Sutherland and Sullivan.
A nightmare struggle for survival

In the story where the reunion of two brothers, who have become estranged from each other over time, is interrupted by the revival of flesh-eating evil spirits, the two brothers experience the most nightmarish moments a family can face and are caught in the middle of a brutal battle for survival.
Lee Cronin is the director and screenwriter of Pacific Renaissance and Wild Atlantic Pictures’ “Evil Spirit Awakening,” presented by A New Line Cinema / Renaissance Pictures. The movie stars Lily Sullivan (“I Met a Girl,” “Barkskins”), Alyssa Sutherland (“The Mist,” “Vikings”), Morgan Davies (“Storm Boy,” “The End”), Gabrielle Echols (“Reminiscence” ) shares. “Evil Spirit Awakening” makes history as the first movie starring Nell Fisher (“Northspur”).
“Evil Awakening” is produced by Rob Tapert (“Ash vs Evil Dead,” “Don’t Breathe”) and executive produced by series creator and horror icon Sam Raimi. Horror legends “Ash” Bruce Campbell, John Keville, Macdara Kelleher, Richard Brener, Dave Neustadter, Romel Adam and Victoria Palmieri are also among the film’s other producers.
