EUROCUP 2 Group A matches, to be hosted by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, will be played at Celal Atik Sports Hall on March 10-11.

Group A matches of EUROCUP 2, one of the most important cups in Europe in wheelchair basketball, will start on Friday, March 10 at Celal Atik Sports Hall. The first match of the giant championship organized by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, which hosted the Andre Vergauwen Cup in 2008 and organized the first international organization in wheelchair basketball, will be held between İzmir BBSK and Fenerbahçe Göksel Çelik at 11.15.

There are eight matches in total.
In addition to İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Club, Fenerbahçe Göksel Çelik and Meylan Grenoble Handibasket from France and Orto-Medico Scyzory Kielce from Poland will participate in the group matches. After the İzmir BBSK-Fenerbahçe Göksel Çelik match on Friday, March 10, Meylan Grenoble Handibasket-Orto-Medico Scyzory Kielce will be played at 13.30, İzmir BBSK – Meylan Grenoble Handibasket will be played at 18.00, and Orto-Medico Scyzory Kielce-Fenerbahçe Göksel Çelik matches will be played at 20.15. On Saturday, March 11, at 09.00, Fenerbahçe Göksel Çelik-Meylan Grenoble Handibasket and İzmir BBSK-Orto Medico Scşzory Kielce welcomes will be held at 11.15.

After the matches between the four teams, the teams that are third and fourth in the group will meet again at 15.45, and the teams in the first and second place will meet again at 18.00. The first team will qualify for the EUROCUP 2 finals in Spain, and the second place will qualify for the EUROCUP 3 final group to be held in Yalova on April 27-30. All matches will be broadcast live on the official Youtube account of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Club.
