Esra Soydan, who is preparing to open her first solo exhibition consisting of a selection of her painting works that she has been carrying out since 2007, says that the main idea is to discover the moments where her spiritual journey and art journey meet as the starting point for her exhibition titled “On the Road”. He states that finding the abstract in the concrete and making people think about the invisible behind the visible is the main issue.
“Artopol Art Gallery” is hosting Esra Soydan’s first solo exhibition titled “On the Road”, who has participated in many group exhibitions with her works.
Artopol Art Gallery is preparing to host Esra Soydan’s solo exhibition titled “On the Road” with the “Support for Children Who Cannot See Glow Association” within the scope of the “HELP WITH ART” project to support the education of children affected by the earthquake. It will be open to visitors between 16 – 29 March 2023 at Artopol Gallery located in 42 Maslak.
Esra Soydan; He defines this first solo exhibition, which will consist of a selection of paintings he has prepared since 2007, as discovering the moments where his spiritual journey and his artistic journey meet. He also states that the starting point of his exhibition on the road is “finding the abstract in the concrete, making us think about the invisible behind the visible”. In his works of art, Soydan depicts the adventure of oil paint on canvas and the life that paint encounters on the road.
Esra Soydan, born in 1965 in Istanbul, continued her education at Istanbul University Press School in 1985, after Saint Michel French High School. Within the scope of social responsibility projects, she has been working as a Member of the Board of Directors of “Support for Children Who Cannot Glow” since 2009.
The exhibition, organized for the benefit of the Support for Children Who Cannot See Glow Association, will be open to visitors at the Artopol Art Gallery, located in 42 Maslak, between 16 – 29 March, between 10:00 and 20:00, to meet art lovers.

About Esra Soydan
Born in 1965, after Saint Michel French High School, he attended Istanbul University Press and Broadcasting School. Within the scope of social responsibility projects, she has been working as a Board Member of “Support for Children Who Cannot Glow” since 2009. Esra Soydan started her art studies at the Monday Workshop at Beykoz Konakları Art Center in 2007. Zeki Asaf Yüksel Erdal Kural Selahattin Yıldırım Mustafa Karyagdi worked with Yusuf Taktak Kemal Kara. Between 2015 and 2018, the artist took the “History of Art from the Beginning to the Present” courses from Arşo Kasparyan. Organized by Nokta Beylerbeyi in 2018 – 2019, “Prof. She attended “Contemporary Art” courses with Marcus Graf. The artist, who still continues her art works in the workshops of Selahattin Yıldırım and Kemal Kara, has also been working with Prof. Onk Academy since 2020.
