ALEM Magazine made a fun and oxygen-filled shoot with Özge Gürel this week, among her busy set schedule. The shooting at Balkaya Farm located in Kırklareli became unforgettable with the wonderful shots of Zeynel Abidin.

“IN LIFE THERE ARE MOMENTS WHEN YOUR FACE BRIGHTENS AS YOU REMEMBER”

While shooting with Özge Gürel in a pleasant way, she answered the following question about the wedding story, which is very entertaining and talked about in Italy; “There are moments when your face lights up as you remember them, not necessarily great happiness or incredible turning points in life, but they are safe areas. Serkan, my family and friends were wonderful times when we could talk and laugh even after years.”

“NO NEED TO ATTACH GREAT MEANINGS TO THIS, EVERYTHING IS DISCOVERY”

When Özge Gürel was asked about her married life and what she enjoyed doing together, she replied as follows; “Exploring. There is no need to attribute great meanings to it, everything is discovery; in a ridiculous movie, in a country, in a new place. We grew up together, we are still growing, at that time we discovered ourselves and each other, we opened areas and closed some places.”

“EVERY CHANGE ACTUALLY; I LOVE A LOT”

While shooting and chatting with Özge Gürel, her eyes sparkled when she talked about her husband Serkan, and when asked what her strongest feelings were for her husband, she replied: “Actually, it always changes; I love you very much, I feel compassion, I hope, I get angry, but I put it all above the feeling that I am very in love.”

“WE SHOULD FIND OUR OWN WAY BEFORE INDEPENDENT ON THE RELATIONSHIP”

When asked what the secret of a happy relationship could be, Özge Gürel replied as follows; “Most of the time, I don’t know the answer to this question. Happiness is such a relative concept for all of us. Independent of the relationship, we must first find our own way, break our own walls so that we can establish a healthy bond with others, knowing how to love someone and love ourselves is something that needs to be learned, and most of us learn this on the way.

“SAY I’M NOT GAUGHT AND I’M ESCALATING”

Based on Özge Gürel’s energy, she does not seem like someone who can get angry very easily, but when asked what would anger her the most, she replied as follows; “Let’s say I’m not angry, I’m running away. People who have a fixed mind and are unaware of it, and those who think the world revolves around it, fight to their death in exhaustion.”

“I AM A PERSON TALKING ABOUT ITSELF; TRANSFORMATION, CHANGE I DO NOT WANT TO LEAVE A STONE I CANNOT LEAVE”

When asked about his thoughts on personal development and what he does about himself in this area if he is interested, he replied as follows; “As human beings, I don’t know how we can move forward without doing this. I am a person who messes with himself; I transform, I change, I don’t want to leave a stone inside me that I don’t lift. I can’t stop confrontation. I get therapist support regularly, which should be accessible to everyone in our country.

“I AM VERY INTERESTED IN HISTORY AND SCIENCE”

When asked if she has any other interests besides her acting that no one knows about, she replied as follows; “I am very interested in history and science. I can read historical figures and events for hours. Or following the developments in the world of science and researching makes me very excited.”

“2023 MAKES ME FEEL LIKE A DIFFERENT YEAR”

While the year 2023 has just started, when asked what are Özge Gürel’s plans for this year and if there are any new projects that excite her, she replied as follows; “2023 feels like a different year to me, I don’t know why, I’ll probably know before the year ends. I’m very excited about life, I can’t fit inside of me. There are film projects that we are discussing for the summer, they will become clear soon.”
