Foreign sales, one of the company’s primary targets, increased by 251 percent and reached 2 billion 273 million TL. According to the notification made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), Erciyas Steel Pipe completed 2022 with strong sales and profitability figures, with its stable performance throughout the year.
By the end of 2022, Erciyas Çelik Boru increased its annual sales revenues by 235 percent and its net profit by 649 percent compared to the previous year, while its overseas sales increased by 251 percent. Compared to 2021, the export of the company, which increased its exports by 61 percent on tonnage basis and 251 percent on revenue basis, reached 83 percent of the total pipe sales revenue.

Erciyas Çelik Boru Chairman of the Board Emre Erciyas stated that they completed a difficult year with a success that exceeded their targets and said:
“The year 2022 has been a difficult year for companies and industries due to global factors affecting the markets. In addition to the uncertainties caused by the pandemic, war and the deepening energy crisis, the global recession concerns also negatively affected the markets. As Erciyas Çelik Boru, we have completed the year 2022 with a success beyond our targets, focusing especially on investment and export during this stormy period.
By the end of 2022, we increased our total sales revenues by 235 percent compared to the previous year and increased it from 1 billion 50 million TL to 3 billion 518 million TL. EBITDA, on the other hand, increased by 205 percent to TL 702 million. Our net annual profit, which was 24 million 682 thousand TL in 2021, reached 184 million 752 TL, with a record increase of 649 percent. Despite all the difficulties experienced in global markets, we carried our success in our overseas sales, which we also attach special importance to, to 2 billion 273 million TL with an increase of 251 percent. Compared to 2021, our exports; It grew by 61 percent on tonnage basis and 251 percent on revenue basis. Thus, our exports reached 83 percent of our total pipe sales revenue.
