Evrim Art Gallery brought art enthusiasts together with the trio painting exhibition titled “Sorrow.” The exhibition, featuring works by painters Arzu Kılıçdoğan, Hayri Ağan, and Nesrin Sağlam, opened on Saturday, May 3, 2025. It will be open to visitors until May 21, 2025.
The exhibition offers a powerful expression that reflects the depths and emotions of the human soul through art. With the theme of “Sorrow,” it once again emphasizes the transformative and thought-provoking power of art. The exhibition features a total of 42 works created using oil paint, acrylic, and mixed media on canvas, paper, and MDF.

Painters Arzu Kılıçdoğan, Hayri Ağan, and Nesrin Sağlam expressed their thoughts on the exhibition as follows:
“Humanity has been the most fundamental subject of art for centuries. In difficult times, being immersed in art becomes a mirror of the struggle to survive. Every artist and every work carries deep messages unique to their own expression. Art is a powerful tool that reflects the economic, social, political, and cultural transformations of societies throughout history from an aesthetic perspective. The works we are exhibiting at Evrim Art Gallery are united around our common theme: ‘Human.’ We invite all art lovers to visit our exhibition.”

Betül Ketenci, founder of Evrim Art Gallery, shared the following remarks:
“We are thrilled to host a selection of recent works by our three esteemed artists at Evrim Art Gallery. Through the exhibitions and events we have planned throughout the year, we aim to open new horizons for art enthusiasts and invite them on an aesthetic and emotional journey. We welcome everyone to our gallery to share in the transformative power of art and to foster a deeper connection with the community.”
The “Sorrow” exhibition will be on view at Evrim Art Gallery until May 21, 2025.
