The guest of this episode of Eylül Aşkın İle, hosted by Eylül Aşkın and filmed at the Bohem Apartment on Lüleci Hendek Street, was social media influencer Efecin. The program began with a brief overview of Efecin’s background, and as it progressed, Efecin made shocking revelations to Eylül Aşkın. He disclosed for the first time that he is preparing a celebrity gossip program that will soon air on television and that he plans to release an English song in the summer of 2025.
“People have gone astray after Corona.”
The program also touched on critical issues such as violence against women, the recent rise in femicides and child murders, and cases of sexual assault. Efecin commented, “During the lockdown period caused by the coronavirus, the wickedness of bad people and the goodness of good people became evident.” He continued, “Women are pushing themselves into the background because of our patriarchal society. It’s been so deeply ingrained in their minds that they are not the main element, that women unintentionally put themselves in the background and push men to the forefront.”

“They claim I’m a close friend of Dilan Polat.”
Efecin, whose name became associated with the Dilan Polat controversies due to his comments, said: “The show Söylemezsem Olmaz denied my statements. Now, six or seven months later, they’re saying, ‘Dilan Polat is getting a divorce.’ Hey, I said this six months ago! You denied it, dragged me through the mud, and made me look bad to people. They showed my videos for 20 minutes, talked about money laundering. They claimed I was a close friend of Dilan Polat. I came out and said, ‘I don’t even have underwear to my name, what kind of fantasy are you living in?’”
“Serdar Ortaç doesn’t even have 70,000 lira to pull out of his pocket.”
On his program Efecin ile Yüz Yüze, where he hosted Serdar Ortaç, Efecin voiced concerns about the singer. He remarked: “I don’t know if he’s trying to commit suicide. I don’t believe he’s quit alcohol because he also claimed he quit smoking, yet he was puffing away on a cigarette right in front of us. You can’t perform on stage like this. This man only goes on stage because of his debts. He doesn’t even have 70,000 lira to pull out of his pocket.”

“Right now, it’s impossible to discuss things on TV shows.”
Efecin explained that his program, Efecin ile Yüz Yüze, blends current gossip with conversations featuring various guests. He stated that the show’s concept is centered on expressing opinions and remarked, “If I had done this program on television, it would have been canceled after just one episode.”
“Mehmet Ali Erbil is also unwell.”
Highlighting the ongoing controversies involving Dilan Polat, Serdar Ortaç, and Mehmet Ali Erbil, Efecin commented, “Mehmet Ali Erbil is also sick. I don’t understand what’s happening to these people. There’s a saying, ‘Those who lose control after forty are only straightened out by the grave.’ Just sit down and stay put, for heaven’s sake. What are you even doing?”

“I’m writing a script.”
Efecin shared that he feels a strong connection to comedy, particularly in the style of Gülse Birsel, and mentioned, “I’m also writing scripts.” He revealed his interest in possible television series projects.
He’s Preparing a TV Magazine Program!
Efecin announced that he is preparing a new magazine program in which Zeynep Dizdar will occasionally participate as a commentator. He added, “Efecin ile Yüz Yüze will continue on YouTube, but we’re considering a television version for the magazine program. We’ll be having meetings with TV channels this week.”
“Right now, people trying to be influencers on social media are wasting their time.”
Efecin pointed out that due to the country’s economy and skyrocketing prices, becoming famous, raising one’s profile, and promoting oneself have all become significantly more expensive. He warned young people, “Those who made it before are the ones who succeeded. That’s no longer the case now.”
