When March comes, for them it is not only International Working Women’s Day, but also Women’s Week and Women’s Month. Their annual events in March have been traditional for some time now.

With Seval Uğur Mutlu, Model, Presenter, Movie Actress, Ballroom Dance Artist, who performed in tango evenings every Sunday night between 1994-2007 at the Armada Hotel, the dance partner of Ümit Hayri İris, the first name that comes to mind when it comes to partner dances in Turkey, and who was named “Carmen” by Müzeyyen Senar,

Hicran Çiğdem Yorgancıoğlu (Eftalya), a world traveler, educator, economist and versatile artist (Painting, Literature, Drama, Theatrical Dance Performance) who represents Turkey in various projects in the fields of education, academic presentation, informatics, culture and art in the world, founder of MIM CHI 360 Drama Dance Theater, THEATRE INSTRUCTOR and Drama Dance Theater stage performances artist in different countries in 5 continents.

Two days after their talk on Women and Art from the Past to the Future at Chi Ci Talks at the COMPOSITE DEVELOPMENT Workshops, they danced a fusion dance at the praktilonga event organized by Çetin Cengiz Tango NEON. At the event held in Göztepe Soyak Sitesi, Çiğdem Yorgancıoğlu also made a speech drawing attention to the importance of the issue of International Working Women’s Day and drawing attention to the civil society work and social responsibility projects around the world on this issue.

The duo took the stage together again for the first time since the pandemic and this time they interpreted the fusion of Salon dance and Mim Chi 360 dance theater with a kanto song. The duo had previously performed a tango interpretation at the Tango Therapy Platform event at the Healthy Living and Nutrition Fair at the Istanbul Congress Center in March 2020. The previous year, they also organized an event for the launch of their poetry book.
