We talked to Fatih Hanoğlu, an applied linguist, story therapist, profiling expert, educator and mentor, about what linguistics is and how it relates to other cultures, profiling, language learning, crime, psychology and social psychology.
Hanoğlu, who has a diploma or certificate in almost every field he is curious about, said, “People start to become what they spend time on. For example, women are more successful in non-verbal communication because they can biologically give birth to children and because the child born cannot speak.” With many similar examples, he enlightened us on the biological and social differences between men and women and our personal development cycle.
Fatih Hanoğlu stated that the emotions that we consider negative such as fear and anger are actually positive emotions, and gave information about how the emotions and possible character of the person are analyzed from the actions of the person in profile analysis. Stating that murderers who enjoy killing have less chance of leaving a trace behind, Hanoğlu said, “Because it increases their potential.”
