The 108th anniversary of the Çanakkale Naval Victory was celebrated with a ceremony in Istanbul Bayrampaşa. At the ceremony, a wreath was laid at the Atatürk Monument, a moment of silence was held for the martyrs, and then the National Anthem was sung.
A ceremony was held in Istanbul Bayrampaşa on the occasion of the 18 March Martyrs’ Day and the 108th anniversary of the Çanakkale Naval Victory. Bayrampaşa District Governor Dr. Soner Şenel, Bayrampaşa Mayor Atila Aydıner, Garrison Commander Communications Colonel Coşkun Çelik, Bayrampaşa Police Chief Abdullah Afacan, representatives of political parties and non-governmental organizations, families of martyrs, council members, neighborhood headmen, teachers, students and citizens.
The ceremony, which started with the laying of wreaths on the Atatürk Monument by the District Governor Şenel, Mayor Aydıner and Garrison Commander Çelik, ended with a moment of silence for the martyrs and the singing of the National Anthem.
