Ata Demirer, a masterful writer, actor, and musician of Turkish cinema and television, is getting ready to meet the audience in cinemas with “Bursa Bülbülü,” a production undertaken by BKM, for which he wrote the script and also takes on the lead role.

Set in the 1980s when cabaret culture was still thriving, the life of Cengiz, a singer in a tea garden in Bursa, whose greatest passion is to release a cassette, takes a turn when he meets Taşkın. Taşkın’s father believes that borrowing money from his brother to produce a cassette of a famous composer Şerafettin’s composition will be a great opportunity. The chain of unfortunate events that Cengiz experiences with Taşkın and Taşkın’s sister Arzu during this process will provide the audience with enjoyable and entertaining moments.
