BSH Turkey, which works to contribute to a sustainable future with its products and production processes, has saved more than 404 thousand cubic meters of water in 5 years with its projects in production facilities in Çerkezköy.
BSH Turkey, which has been operating as a carbon neutral since 2020 in all its facilities, contributes to the construction of a sustainable life for future generations by using the planet’s resources in the most efficient way.
With the innovative studies implemented in production technologies and processes, 404 thousand cubic meters of water savings have been achieved in the last five years, which corresponds to the volume of 162 Olympic swimming pools. On the energy side, with the energy savings of approximately 5.7 million kWh obtained in 2022, 2,482 tons of carbon emissions were prevented.
One of the most important projects that saved water is the Painting Project of the Cool Factory, which received a special sustainability award from Germany. One of the most important water consumption items in the production of refrigerators, with improvements in the paint, water savings of up to 40 percent were achieved.
