Bonna Porselen, a leading brand in the HoReCa sector in Turkey, has signed a strategic collaboration protocol with Kocaeli University to strengthen its efforts in sustainability and integrate art into this process. The collaboration protocol signing ceremony took place on January 11, 2024, with the participation of Prof. Dr. Elif ÖĞÜT, Vice Rector of Kocaeli University, and Halil Karakaya, Human Resources Director of Bonna. Within the scope of this significant collaboration, both parties are gearing up to take effective steps in implementing sustainability and zero-waste projects in various fields.
Associate Professor Dr. Nermin Demirkol, a faculty member in the Ceramic Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Kocaeli University, will provide consultancy for the projects. She will guide the university’s zero-waste club students in transforming broken plates into works of art.
