The 13th exhibition of the Bazaart Project, an art project created in 2011 within the Rotary Club of Yeniköy, which provides the opportunity to exhibit the works of art students and new graduates studying at fine arts faculties, to deliver them to collectors and to bring them together with art lovers, was opened on 21 March Thursday at Gallery Deniz in Denizbank Head Office building.
The works selected within the Bazaart Project, which is based on the idea of “An Art for Every Home” and whose mission is to make art and art collection accessible to everyone, are waiting for collectors who will support young artists with an average price of 8-10 thousand TL.
Both of the works selected within the scope of the project are by Caner Kemahlıoğlu
Caner Kemahlıoğlu, the popular painter of Sivas, also took part in the exhibition with his works titled “Dystopia” and “Metaphorical Allegory of Dystopian Dreams”. The artist, who came to Istanbul for the opening of the exhibition, said about the meaning and importance of the day: “I have participated many times before, but this time for the first time I was in the atmosphere of the exhibition live. The finalists of the 13th Bazaart exhibition, which includes beautiful works from each other. In addition to the pleasure of being among the finalists of the 13th Bazaart exhibition, I was also happy that my important artist friends such as Okan Karakaya and Alper Ayaz took part in the exhibition. The fact that the curator of the exhibition in this year’s programme was Deha Çun and that Feride Çelik was also on the jury and that we met for the first time on this platform made me very happy. My favourite work belongs to Alper Ayaz. We also had the opportunity to meet collectors, sponsors and many important names.”
The exhibition can be visited until 29 March at Galeri Deniz, located in Denizbank Head Office building in Gayrettepe.
