In addition to the planting activities in the “Aydın Farmer Center”, the Metropolitan Municipality also harvests the products that were planted beforehand. Harvested products are brought to the consumers at Halk Ege Meat markets.

The “Aydın Farmer Center”, which was established to bring high value-added products to Aydın farmers, continues to fulfill this mission. The harvest made from asparagus planted in previous years has started to meet with consumers this year as well. Asparagus, which has a very high economic value and is suitable for the Aydın climate, is exported as well as being evaluated in the domestic market.

Expressing that they are pleased to gain experience with such a valuable plant, President Çerçioğlu said that they will bring the seedlings to be obtained to the citizens in the coming period. President Çerçioğlu also stated that they are ready to share their experience in asparagus production with the institutions and farmers who want it.
