Organized by the Turkish Rowing Federation, the Seniors Turkey Cup rowing races will be held in Köyceğiz Lake on March 14-16.

Adiyaman Youth and Sports Club rowing athletes who lost their lives in the earthquake in the races will be commemorated.

More than 100 athletes from 5 clubs will compete on the 2000-meter track in the Seniors Turkey Cup, which will be held with the support of Muğla Metropolitan Municipality and Köyceğiz Municipality. Races will be held in the Single Double (1x), Two Double (2x), Two Single (2-), Four Double (4x), Four Single (4-) and Eight Single Steerers (8+) categories in the Seniors, U23 and U19 categories.

At the same time, rowing athletes who lost their lives in the earthquake disaster that shook Turkey deeply will be commemorated at the Seniors Turkey Cup. In the races where the rowers will be drawn in memory of Mir Berke Mutlu, Halil İbrahim Elvermez, Mehmet Kadir Özbilgin and Alper Efe Taştaş, the athletes of Adıyaman Youth and Sports Club who lost their lives in the earthquake, the athletes will descend into the water in the categories where the names of the lost athletes are given.
