Seranay İduğ, who was directed by a psychologist to receive drama education because she was an introverted child and did not talk to anyone, started theater at the age of nine as a student of Ayla Algan at Ekol Drama House with the guidance of her family.

The young actress studied at Pera Fine Arts High School Theater Department with seventy-five percent scholarship and Beykent University Theater Department with one hundred percent scholarship. Seranay İduğ, who is currently continuing her master’s degree at Haliç University Theater Department, will graduate from here after finishing her thesis.

Seranay İduğ, who has been meeting with the theater audience for two seasons with the play of the same name adapted from Gökhan Kutluer’s novel “Köksüz”, which is a monologue (one-person play) concept that many professional actors approach hesitantly even at a mature age, said, “I was very scared, I had a difficult rehearsal process. I’m in my twenties, I thought that at most it would be a very bad play, I tried it and I learned what to do and what not to do.”

Serenay İduğ, who founded Theater Epifani less than a year ago, continues her work with her two partners. The artist, who is currently 26 years old, will continue to perform her one-woman play “Köksüz” this season, but will also stage a new play in April.
