Yapı Kredi bomontiada is hosting a meaningful gathering within the “The Artist Family of the Republic; Symphony of Light” exhibition. Artist and author Oylum Öktem and Visual Director of İş Bankası Cultural Publications, Birol Bayram, will join in conversation on “The Social Ties of the Artist Family of the Republic”, bringing art lovers together.

This event, scheduled for Wednesday, November 20th, at 6:30 pm, celebrates the launch of Oylum Öktem’s book bearing the same name as the exhibition. The evening begins with a musical performance by Ezgi Köker and Erdem Sökmen, followed by a guided tour of the exhibition with the artist.

Oylum Öktem’s archive, the culmination of 20 years of work, holds vital documents that shed light on a family of artists who have made significant contributions to the arts since the founding of the Republic. The “The Artist Family of the Republic: Symphony of Light” exhibition offers this archive to the public for the first time in history.
