Traditional Ramadan Activities of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality started in Karaalioğlu Park. While the traditional Hacivat-Karagöz play, the Quran Recitation, the Sinan-ı Ümmi Musical Ensemble Concert and the Sema Show, performed on the first day of Ramadan, were watched with admiration, the people of Antalya experienced Ramadan nostalgia.
Ramadan Events organized by Antalya Metropolitan Municipality in Karaalioğlu Park in Ramadan, the sultan of 11 months, started. On the first day of the activities organized by the Department of Culture and Social Affairs, the Holy Quran Recitation, Sinan-i Ummi Musical Ensemble Concert and Sema Show were held. Citizens experiencing the happiness and peace of meeting the blessed month of Ramadan also flocked to the events held in Karaalioğlu Park after the iftars.
WATCHED WITH INTEREST
The first day event of the month of Ramadan, which represents blessings and abundance that is better than a thousand months.
It started with the Hacivat-Karagöz play. Hacivat and Karagöz, especially the children, burst into laughter. The traditional shadow play was watched with interest by children and citizens. After the shadow play, the Quran Recitation was recited, and the Sinan-i Ummi Musical Ensemble Concert and Sema Show were performed. Antalya residents who participated in the events and experienced Ramadan nostalgia also visited the Ramadan Bazaar set up in the area and shopped at the stands.
MORALE EVENTS
Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Department of Culture and Social Affairs officials stated that due to the disasters that stifled Turkey, instead of activities such as concerts and entertainment, activities that will raise morale for children in general will be held. Within the scope of the activities, there will be sufi music concerts, middle dance and traditional Ramadan performances for children and conversations during the month of Ramadan. All kinds of needs, from shopping to eating and drinking, will be met in the Ramadan Bazaar that has been established.

As part of the events, Nursel Ergin “Nursel’s Kitchen” on Saturday, March 25, Sami Özer Sufi Music Concert on Saturday, April 1, Sunay Akın “Lights of Mahya” on Friday, April 7 and Saturday evening, April 15, and İbrahim Sadri on Saturday, April 8 will meet with the people of Antalya. On Monday, April 17, the Night of Power Special Program will take place, and on Wednesday, April 19, international children’s shows will take place.
