Anadolu Foundation has launched the 11th edition of its Mentorship Program, aiming to provide career and personal development support to its scholarship recipients. This program, which has been ongoing since 2013, is facilitated with the participation of Anadolu Group professionals and volunteer executives and experts from various organizations. The Mentorship Program is designed to help young scholars unlock their potential, discover their strengths, and accelerate their personal development journeys.
Tuncay Özilhan, Chairman of Anadolu Group and Anadolu Foundation, emphasized the importance of support given to the youth in his speech at the program’s opening event. He firmly believes that the support provided to the youth and investments made in education are invaluable steps for our future. Özilhan further stated, “In a world characterized by constant innovation, change, and transformation, keeping up with the pace of our times and surviving in a rapidly changing world is not easy for them. To ensure the sustainability of our world, businesses, and values, we need to complement their shortcomings and transfer our knowledge and experiences to them effectively.”
Evrim Hizaler, General Manager of Anadolu Foundation, stressed that the future of our nation is entrusted to our valuable youth. Therefore, they initiated the Mentorship Program a decade ago, which has provided approximately 8,000 hours of mentorship support from over 1,200 mentors and mentees in ten editions. Thanks to the contributions and resource development activities of the program’s participants, this year, the number of mentors and mentees has risen to 302. The volunteer mentors are primarily composed of 70% Anadolu Group executives and 30% executives from 48 different and esteemed companies. Hizaler expressed her heartfelt gratitude to each one of them and aimed for the program’s continued growth because they know that the right guidance will have an immeasurable impact on the future of our youth and, consequently, our society.
