Turkey’s first non-governmental organization in the field of search and rescue, AKUT Search and Rescue Association, on the 108th anniversary of Çanakkale Naval Victory, Afyon, Ankara, Antalya, Bozüyük, Bursa, Çanakkale, Eskişehir, Fethiye, İstanbul, İzmir, Kaş Kalkan, Kocaeli, Manisa , Marmaris, Tekirdağ and Peninsula teams, 257 volunteers, team leaders, managers and 30 students from Hacettepe and Uludağ Universities AKUT student societies; commemorated the Çanakkale Naval Victory and our martyrs with the participation of a total of 287 volunteers.
In the statement made by AKUT, at the 13th Memorial March event, which they organized this year, after the volunteers met at the campsite with their AKUT official clothes on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 13:00, they set off en masse and marched towards Alone Pine, Anafartalar and the 57th Regiment. It was stated that they visited the Conk Bayırı region, where he departed. On Sunday morning, March 19, 2023, at 09:00, it was stated that a moment of silence was held at the Çanakkale Monument at 10:30, a wreath was laid and the National Anthem was sung.
