Karabağlar Municipality continues to renovate the parks located in the district. In this context, Abidin Dino Park in Selvili neighborhood is being revamped by the Department of Public Works teams. After the completion of infrastructure works in the park, the Park and Gardens Department teams will also carry out the necessary landscaping arrangements.
Karabağlar Mayor Muhittin Selvitopu visited the region to inspect the work on site. Mayor Selvitopu wished the best to the Department of Public Works employees and had a brief chat with the residents and shopkeepers in the neighborhood. The residents thanked Mayor Selvitopu and the Karabağlar Municipality for the complete renovation of the park.
Taking into account the recommendations
Reminding that there are many parks in Karabağlar, which has a population of 500,000 and 3,600 streets, Mayor Selvitopu stated that they are renovating them one after the other in accordance with the program determined and offering them to the use of the citizens. Stating that they take into account the requests and recommendations of the residents in every arrangement, Mayor Selvitopu said, “Our citizens demand walking paths, children’s play and sports areas in our parks. We strive to do this in every suitable park. In addition, we take care to equip all our renovated parks with modern toys in the children’s play areas. We also convert the irrigation system into automation suitable for daily conditions.”
Mayor Selvitopu emphasized that Karabağlar Municipality will continue to use its modest budget for the general interests of the people and said, “With this understanding, we will continue to make parks where our citizens and their children can spend healthy time together in the city and take a breath, and renovate the existing ones.”
Abidin Dino Park, which is larger than 3000 square meters, will gain an approximately 1900 square meters of green area after the works. The park will have sports and children’s play areas, walking paths, and resting areas.
