One of Turkey’s prominent painters, Aysu Koçak, celebrated the 50th anniversary of her artistic career with a special event titled “Book Launch and Selections from Black and White Paintings” on Monday, May 26, hosted by Evrim Art Gallery.
The event, held at Evrim Art Gallery, featured a curated exhibition showcasing a special selection of Koçak’s works, alongside the launch of a commemorative book prepared in honor of her 50-year journey in art. A talk moderated by Günsu Saraçoğlu offered insights into Koçak’s half-century-long artistic journey, her sources of inspiration, and the creative process behind her newly released book.
This special conversation will soon be featured on the “Evolution of Art” Culture & Arts Program for a wider audience to enjoy.

This special exhibition featuring works by Aysu Koçak will be on view at Evrim Art Gallery until June 4, 2025. The artist’s commemorative book, reflecting her 50 years of artistic experience, will also be available for purchase at the gallery throughout the event.
