Zeynep Öykü says, “Come to Antakya to say ‘If Antakya exists, so do we.’”
Zeynep Öykü, Turkey’s first harp producer and harp artist, announced, “I will participate in the 11th International Antakya Film Festival by giving a harp concert on October 14, 2023. I invite all my artist friends and art lovers to support the festival and, consequently, Antakya.”
She will give a voluntary concert at the festival
Zeynep Öykü, who has gained attention both in Turkey and internationally with the harps she produces and the harp concerts she gives, will perform a voluntary harp concert at the 11th International Antakya Film Festival. Öykü, in her statement about the concert she will perform as part of the festival on Saturday, October 14, 2023, called on the entire art community to support the festival. She said the following about the subject: “Antakya holds a very special place in my heart. The earthquake wounds affected all of us deeply. Four years ago, I had given concerts in the churches of Antakya. I will perform historical works from the Renaissance and Middle Ages in a manner befitting Antakya’s history at the festival. I will participate in the 11th International Antakya Film Festival by giving a harp concert on October 14, 2023. I invite all my artist friends and art lovers to support the festival and, consequently, Antakya. Come to Antakya to say ‘If Antakya exists, so do we.’”

The festival will take place in Antakya from October 13 to October 19, 2023.
The 11th International Antakya Film Festival, which will take place with film screenings, sectoral meetings, and festival support events in container settlements, will begin with the opening ceremony on Friday, October 13, 2023. The festival will conclude with an awards ceremony on Thursday, October 19, 2023, where the winners will be announced.
