The legendary show “Troia” (Troy), bearing the signature of Mustafa Erdoğan, the General Art Director of Anatolian Fire, met the audience at the Atatürk Cultural Center – Turkish Telecom Opera Hall.
After its summer tour, Troia performed for the first time in Istanbul, experiencing the excitement of returning to the AKM stage after a long break. The audience, who filled the hall, showered the artists with applause in the face of the high-energy choreography, impressive stage design, and powerful narrative blended with the music of Anatolia.
Speaking after the show, General Art Director Mustafa Erdoğan emphasized that the audience’s interest is very valuable to them and said:
“The energy and longing of the audience gave us great motivation. This year is a very important one for us. Starting next year, we are beginning a very extensive tour in America. The organizers from America were here with us today; they loved the show very much. The schedules are being determined right now. We are talking about a major US tour that will last about 10 months and where the show will be staged almost every day. We will travel to almost all states.”

Erdoğan, drawing attention to Anatolian Fire’s dual-cast structure, explained the scope of the program as follows:
“From now on, one cast of Troia will continue its journey in America, and one cast will continue in Turkey. Therefore, this evening was a very special show for us. Furthermore, I would like to mention that this season, starting from June, Troia will also be staged at the Aspendos Ancient Theater.”
Reminding that Troy is a cultural heritage of Anatolian origin, Erdoğan expressed the meaning of the work with these words:
“Many people did not know that Troy was in Turkey; in fact, many thought it was an island in Greece. However, Troy is a culture that belongs to us, to Anatolia. We brought it to the stage with our folk dances, music, and vocals, with a completely Anatolian interpretation.”
