Monsieur Minimal, the indie-pop pioneer from Greece who met with Istanbulite music lovers at the Gezgin Salon Festival last year and quickly became a staple of personal playlists, is this time taking the stage at Roxy Club, one of Istanbul’s legendary venues, in celebration of its 30th anniversary, with contributions from %100 Music! The concert will take place on November 15th.
Monsieur Minimal, a musician and producer based in Athens, blends the freshness of spring with analog synths and the nostalgic sounds of the 60s and 70s with dreamlike melodies in his music. With his track “Love Story” from the 2008 album “Lollipop,” which became a favorite among young lovers, the artist has embarked on a deep and multi-layered musical journey throughout his career.
After moving to Athens following his first album, he reflected the city’s dark soul in his albums “Pasta Flora” and “Minimal to Maximal.” With his fourth album, “High Times,” released in 2015, he reached his darkest period and touched the deepest corners of listeners’ souls with the track “Gaidadelic.” His album “Easteria,” whose name comes from a combination of the words “East” and “hysteria,” was released in 2020.

Monsieur Minimal made a major comeback this year with his seventh studio album, “Seven,” released on June 6th. Adorned with elements skillfully borrowed from soul, funk, disco, and indie, this latest album is poised to be one of the most successful works of his career.
With seven albums released since 2008, Monsieur Minimal has gained a significant fan base both in Greece and internationally. He has performed in the USA, Switzerland, Turkey, France, Russia, Germany, and Poland. The artist, who has produced music for TV spots, films, and advertisements in the USA and Canada, also opened for Moby’s concert in Athens in 2011. Today, as one of the most important representatives of indie-pop aesthetics in Greece, he continues to maintain a strong presence on radio and television playlists.
