The second edition of Fantasİstanbul will be held in Istanbul this year under the motto “Guaranteed Original Feature Film”. This year’s festival jury will consist of nine prominent figures from the world of cinema, chaired by Okan Bayülgen.

In addition to the National and International Competition Selections, the festival — which will present awards in two categories — will also host the Fantastic Galas, the details of which will be announced soon. Artistic Director Kerem Akça, speaking about the first stage of the festival, said:

National Competition Selection in Two Cinemas

“For FantasIstanbul 2025, organized with the guarantee of original feature films, we now have the much-anticipated first event dates and our national jury members confirmed. The National Competition Selection will be screened from August 16–21 at Beyoğlu Atlas 1948 Cinema and from August 22–24 at Biletinial Torun Center Cinema. From Chairman Okan Bayülgen to Cihangir Ceyhan, from Cem Karcı to Ege Kökenli, thank you all for giving me the space to achieve ‘firsts’ as always and for supporting me in bringing together this legendary nine-member team.
