The Üstün Akmen Theatre Awards, one of the most prestigious events in the theatre world, met with art lovers for the 9th time this year. The ceremony, where the most successful theatre productions and artists of the 2024-2025 season were awarded, took place at the Caddebostan Cultural Center, hosted by U. Kıvanç Terzioğlu.
The award process was conducted through the meticulous evaluations of the High Council, chaired by Şaylan Akmen, and the members of the selection committee. The High Council included Anta Toros, Ataol Behramoğlu, Güler Berkin, Nevra Serezli, Suna Keskin, and Tamer Levent, while the Selection Committee consisted of Ayhan Doğan, Derya Özgören, U. Kıvanç Terzioğlu, Şenay Varlıoğlu Akdamar, Vedat Akdamar, and Yetkin Yüksel.
