On April 26th, the countdown has begun for the release of the film “Cadı,” inspired by Hüseyin Rahmi Gürpınar’s novel of the same name, which will hit the screens. The psychological thriller depicts the suspenseful events that unfold as Fikriye, a young widow forcibly married to Naşit Nefi Efendi during the decline of the Ottoman Empire, attempts to unravel the mystery behind the rumors of witchcraft surrounding him and the mansion he lives in. A new trailer has been released, raising expectations for the film, highlighting how Fikriye arrives at the mansion and drawing attention to the mysterious events that occur there, as well as the dedication of Fikriye to unravel the secret of the witch in the mansion, sparking curiosity. The film, which will stand out among recent Turkish films with its story and themes, has also released its theatrical poster.

Furkan Andıç portrays Naşit Nefi Efendi, while Buse Meral plays Fikriye in “Cadı,” and the cast also includes successful actors such as Çağdaş Onur Öztürk, Süreyya Kilimci, Elif Ürse, Manolya Maya, Hüseyin Soyaslan, Cengiz Orhonlu, Dilara Duman, Yağız Ata Dinçer, Ekin Pasvanoğlu, and the master of Turkish Cinema, Nur Sürer.
