Hülya Kavuzlu has announced her candidacy for the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality as an independent candidate. Setting off independently, Chemist-Systems Engineer Hülya Kavuzlu will announce her projects, goals, and the services she aims to provide for Istanbul in a press conference.

Expressing her commitment to serve Istanbul and its people, Independent Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral Candidate Hülya Kavuzlu stated, “I am now on the road to reach more people; our elders, our siblings. My team and I are non-partisan, and my independent candidacy is a testament to that. We believe that municipal work must be human and nature-centered. We are out in the field for the projects we want to bring to Istanbul. I believe that local governments are not arenas of politics but fields of service. Solutions should always be provided to the community unconditionally and through hard work.”

Who is Hülya Kavuzlu?

Born in 1981 as the first child of a Mathematics Teacher father and a housewife mother, Hülya Kavuzlu completed her higher education in the field of chemistry. Chemist-Systems Engineer Hülya Kavuzlu completed her Master’s degree in International Business at Preston University in the USA and conducted her Executive MBA thesis, thus achieving an International Business Master’s degree. She starts her career in a senior position as a Production and Systems Engineer at an international company. Hülya Kavuzlu has a successful career in executive positions in areas such as Production, Business Development, Project Management, Productivity, Quality Management System, Process, R&D, and Innovation. In 2018, she established an association to spread love, peace, and brotherhood to humanity and to provide assistance to needy households. Having quickly gained the status of a nonprofit association, Kavuzlu, who is currently serving as its President, continues to provide financial and moral assistance to needy households she can reach in Turkey and worldwide.
