On November 11, 2023, Evrim Art Gallery in Göztepe, Istanbul, hosted the personal exhibition of Soner Çakmak, one of the prominent figures in Turkish art, titled “Nostalgia.” The opening event, held at the gallery located in Göztepe neighborhood, garnered significant attention from art enthusiasts and members of the press.

The exhibition showcases Soner Çakmak’s distinctive artistic perspective, offering viewers an opportunity to establish an unforgettable connection between the past and the present. Through his works, Çakmak seamlessly blends history with art, nostalgia, and unique compositional approaches, taking the audience on a captivating journey through time. The depiction of old toys, dolls, and puppets in his pieces evokes a sense of emotional nostalgia among viewers.
